Cameron Tomlin is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Savannah, GA who attends Islands. Large frame with a bulky build and square shoulders. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a short side step delivery into a medium leg kick. Slight hip coil at gather and lands in line down the mound. Some drop and drive with push off the back. Medium arm circle in the back and releases from an extended three-quarters slot. Strides well down the mound with extension through release. High amount of strikes with the fastball topping out at 69 miles per hour. Sinking action on the changeup. Lefthanded hitter with a wide base and high hand set. Rotational pull side approach. Best contact comes when staying up the middle. Very good student as well.
