Liam Stumpf is a 2021 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-0 157 lb. frame from Dodgeville, WI who attends Mineral Point HS. Medium frame with a slender build. Primary outfielder. Aggressive and athletic movements when closing to the ball. Fields the ball out front with a clean funnel up to the body. Stays low through the ball with smooth exchange. Loose arm action and releases from a lower three quarters to side arm slot. Has some carry with accuracy to the bag. Right handed hitter with an upright and slightly open stance. Longer front side trigger for timing. Has some linear shift into contact with lower half. Good balance throughout swing. Short swing to a line drive bat path with a middle of the field approach. Handles the barrel well and flashed the ability to repeat swing. Right handed pitcher with a simple side step delivery into a medium belt high leg lift. Has some bottom half coil with good balance at gather. Gets some drop and drive actions to the plate while landing slightly closed. Medium arm circle in back and releases from an extended three quarters arm slot. Fastball stayed mostly straight in the mid to upper 70s and topped out at 78 miles per hour. Showed and 11/5 curveball with some late depth.
