Daichi Katsuragi is a 2018 RHP with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Kyoto, KY who attends Heian HS. Medium athletic build with some present lower half strength. Well balanced delivery that he repeats well, has good pace and repeats his mechanics, high hand separation with a long and loose arm action, high 3/4's arm slot. Mid-70's fastball, kept adding velocity as his confidence increased, topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight and generally thrown to spots. Nice change up he could throw more often. Rare soft curveball with a rolling break.
