Angel L Lassalle Santiago is a 2021 C/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.57 second 60-yard dash time. Longer frame and build with long limbs and lots of room to add strength. Primary catcher who starts with a deeper crouch and stands into release. Quick and short arm action through the back with a quick release resulting in a best recorded pop time of 1.96 seconds. Arm strength plays from the position and gains ground nicely. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Easy hands and they work well into the stroke with quality strength at times. Low effort swing and projects nicely for additional power. Tremendous student.
