Jorge Sanchez is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Gurabo, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded an 8.00 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with well-proportioned strength present to the build. Primary righthanded pitcher with a smooth and controlled delivery. Very good extension toward the plate with effort at release. Quicker arm stroke with some whippiness to the arm. Good life on the fastball that topped out at 85 mph. High three-quarters arm slot and changes eye levels with the fastball. Curveball showed some bite and depth with inconsistency to the offering. Arm strength plays well from secondary position of first base. Righthanded hitter with a narrow start, uphill swing path and can turn the barrel over. Low effort trigger with good carry to all fields. Generates impact at the point of contact and has some power present. Good student. Named to the 14u National TP List.
