Xavier Bellay is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Interlake Senior HS. Medium athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a late hand drop load, foot and hand load can be late at times, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, has some hand quickness and flashed some gap pop, has the hitting tools and approach to continue to improve as he gets stronger. 7.61 runner, tends to stop at the ball on defense, has a quick release, arm strength can improve with better momentum and footwork through release. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot with a simple delivery, fastball is effectively a cutter with consistent cutter spin and shape, slurve type breaking ball, is around the plate with all pitches. Very good student.
