Michael Maher is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Jefferson, MA who attends Wachusett Regional. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.09 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance with high back elbow, minimal hand load free of separation, smaller leg lift, whole-field approach with slightly downhill swing plane. Showed ability to work to all fields, solid overall bat-to-ball skills. Worked out in the infield; swivels hips well and stays balanced at times, hands work quite well at the ball, easy hands overall, gets off quick release across the diamond with throws clocked up to 80 mph. Good student.
