Devin Preskenis is a 2020 2B/RHP, OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Cardinal Gibbons. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, solid bat speed on linear plane, shifts well into contact, good contact skills with developing power, showed whole-field approach. Worked out in the infield, plays from beneath the ball, deliberate footwork, shows efficiency in transfer, clocked up to 79 mph across the diamond. Also pitched, loads well over rubber, short closed stride, fastball worked 77-81 mph with head violence at release, shortens arm stroke to throw curveball, good depth to pitch, got a good amount of ground balls. Good student.
