EQ Workinger is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-3 183 lb. frame from Encinitas, CA who attends California Connections Academy. Large frame with an athletic build and strength throughout. Ran a 6.90 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Smooth paced footwork when closing aggressively to the baseball. Fields out in front with quick transitions. Loose arm action from a three-quarter slot creating hard and accurate carry to the bag topping out at 87 MPH. Righthanded hitter with a spread and even stance. Rotational lower half actions staying balanced and under control throughout swing. Flashes some bat speed when working to the pull side and turning the barrel out in front. Strong carry when working to the gap. Good student as well. Named to the 2019 Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.
