Alberto Perez is a 2019 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends John A. Ferguson HS. Recorded a 7.69 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with s strong lower half and advanced physicality. Primary first baseman with a longer arm stroke through the back. Moves well around the bag with good footwork. Arm strength also played from his secondary position of third base. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a high leg lift and good extension down the mound. Very heavy fastball and arm releases from a mid-three-quarters arm slot. Utilizes his back side well through extension and showed a pretty solid changeup. Also showed a slider for three pitches for strikes. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a wide base. Solid bat speed with a quiet, easy approach. Upper half dominant swing path and can improve with additional usage of the lower half. Good student.
