Mason Neller is a 2020 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Marathon, FL who attends Marathon HS. Medium build, skinny with square shoulders and plenty of room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.34 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the baseball out in front, would like to see come through the baseball more, extra step at release, long arm action into throws with average arm strength, topped out at 72 mph across the infield. Righthanded hitter, wide base, open stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, leg lift trigger with a deep hand load, inside hand path to ball, good weight transfer to the point of contact, looks to lift with a pull approach, rotational swing creating some leverage, power potential when squared. Great student.
