Evan Ludwick is a 2018 2B/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Farmington Hills, MI who attends Bishop Foley Catholic HS. Slender, athletic frame with lean present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.47 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance with high hand set and upright posture, leg lift trigger, shifts well into contact with online direction. Shows solid bat speed, found timing and showed some line drive pop to the pull field, able to create leverage off of front side and get the ball into the air with moderate authority. Worked out in two spots. Moves in well on ball in the outfield with balance and momentum, maintains flow through fielding, gathers well and gets off clean release, arm strength clocked up to 78 mph. Showed good range in the infield, plays low to the ground with quickness to feet, good transfer with quick release across the diamond, clocked up to 76 mph.
