Dalton Gilmore is a 2019 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Lacey'S Spring, AL who attends Albert P Brewer HS. Recorded a 7.21 second 60-yard dash time. Long, lanky frame with long limbs and a lot of room to project additional strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a long arm stroke up to a higher three-quarters arm slot. Fastball had nice cutting action to it and topped out at 77 mph. Big breaking curveball that he could throw for strikes. Filled up the zone and worked very well to the glove side. Lots of life to the fastball and cutting action helped to induce weak contact and swings-and-misses. Secondary infielder and first baseman. Whips arm and has a high release with deliberate overall actions at both positions. Righthanded hitter with a strong lower half and a big leg lift trigger into the swing. Works best to the pull side and has a projectable swing plane. Good student.
