Joseph Liucci is a 2019 2B/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from New Haven, CT who attends Hamden Hall. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based, slightly spread stance; hitches back into load, creates some separation, gets hands moving on line drive swing plane. Whole-field approach with solid bat speed, peppered the ball up the middle and to pull field, good power projection. Primary infielder, shows solid footwork to both sides with good hand actions, quick release, arm strength clocked up to 72 mph. Also took reps in outfield, comes in on ball well and works through fielding actions with balance, quick release from lower slot, arm strength on throws clocked up to 75 mph. Very good student.
