Austin Lejeune is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends O'Connor HS. Medium frame with an athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.09 sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while traveling to and surrounding the baseball. Flashed developing fluidity while working through the baseball and transition. Released from a three-quarters arm slot generating on line carry to the bag at 81 miles per hour. Switch hitter with an even, balanced stance and simple front side trigger from each side of the plate. Clean hand path to baseball with a simple barrel plane through extension. Showed the ability to throw barrel head to contact and produce some loud contact off the barrel from the right side of the plate. Primarily looked to work to the middle of the field between the gaps. Excellent student as well.
