Makeiel Hoover is a 2020 1B/3B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Canyon Springs. Ran a 7.82 second sixty-yard dash. Big and strong frame with some athleticism at first base. Developing footwork coming off the bag and some arm strength up to 76 miles per hour. Throws are accurate and to the bag. Most comfortable fielding from behind the bag. Footwork can clean up more to allow for more balanced and athletic actions at the position. Upright and open stance at the plate. High back elbow with a simple leg lift trigger and some linear shift into contact. Some intent to swing with a loose hand path and a slightly lifted barrel plane. Developing barrel feel and control at the plate. Good student.
