Michael Segel is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Key Biscayne, FL who attends Ransom Everglades HS. Recorded a 7.41 second 60-yard dash time. Medium build with a projectable frame and broad shoulders. Primary lefthanded pitcher who works exclusively from the stretch with a longer arm action. Over the top arm slot and clears his front side well. Drop and drive lower half mechanics with some push off the rubber. Good sinking life to the changeup. Can improve with additional balance and getting downhill better. Secondary outfielder with deliberate actions and arm strength recorded up to 74 mph. Lefthanded hitter with a narrow stance and crouched over start. Big leg lift trigger into contact with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Will improve with additional strength. Good student.
