Billy Adkins is a 2021 MIF/ with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from South Riding, VA who attends Freedom. Recorded a 7.84 second 60-yard dash time. Young frame and look with plenty of time left for physical development and maturity. Primary middle infielder with quick hands and a clean exchange to the throwing hand. Currently developing arm strength recorded up to 69 mph with a shorter arm stroke through release. Can throw from multiple slots with intent. Righthanded hitter with a consistent line drive swing plane. Stays on plane very well with a repeatable swing path. Narrow base to start with a high hand set and high back elbow. High contact approach and best contact came to the opposite field on a line. Aggressive hitter who is looking to put the ball in play early in the count. Good student.
