Isaiah Mack is a 2023 3B/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Cornelius, NC who attends Combine Academy. Extra big and strong for his age, looks bigger than listed, really projects well physically. Outstanding runner for his size, 6.58 in the sixty. Played well at both first base and third base defensively, might outgrow third base but has the present athleticism for the position, has soft hands at both positions and confident footwork on the move, plenty of raw arm strength and carry across the diamond, agile and athletic charging the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and narrow stance with a well controlled hanging leg lift timer, has fast hands and a short and simple swing, works gap to gap with an emphasis on staying short to the ball, has been well coached, squared up the ball very well in games with serious jump off the barrel, has the potential to develop serious power with more repetitions. High ceiling young talent, follow closely. Very good student.
