Hunter Dyck is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Smith. Outstanding athletic build, loose and strong with projection remaining. Very compact arm action that hides the ball very well, high flexible leg lift start with good balance over the rubber, tends to swing his lead leg around and land open at times, very good arm speed. Steady upper 80's fastball, gets heavy sinking action at times, very advanced ability to throw strikes with his fastball, probably threw 75-80% of his fastballs for strikes. Change up was his best secondary pitch, mimics his fastball very well with arm speed and late life, can use this pitch more frequently off his fastball. Still developing feel for a curveball, tends to release it early and not get out in front with it, key to his development will be improving his curveball or developing a slider. Has gained 4-5 mph since the start of the 2019 summer. Named to the South Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
