Nick Aide is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Franklin, WI who attends Franklin HS. Slender young athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.35 runner, has good arm strength in the infield with carry on his throws, better present actions at shortstop than second base, works through the ball well at that position with comfortable footwork and some range. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, busy hand load can impact his timing, short contact swing, best contact when he's pulling, has quick hands and sees the ball well, some hitting tools to develop with additional strength. Also pitched, simple delivery with some energy at release that pulls him off line early. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, curveball was his best pitch with a big sweeping break. Good student.
