Andrew Hiller is a 2021 C/OF with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Vienna, VA who attends Marshall. Compact frame with a solid build. Primary catcher with a low, slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground while working out of crouch to a taller throwing position. Loose glove circle while working through exchange and released from a high three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced accurate carry to the bag topping at 72 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.15. Right handed hitter with an upright, narrow stance and large leg lift trigger. Compact, inside hand path to baseball with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Primarily worked to the middle of the field but flashed good bat speed when turning the barrel to contact and working to the pull side gap as well. Good student.
