Alex Chachas is a 2020 SS/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends La Costa Canyon. Chachas has a medium sized frame with a lean lean build. Defensively he showed a deep funnel when fielding and has loose clean transfers. He has nice hands when fielding and showed developing arm strength up to 69 MPH with a slinging arm action. At the plate Chachas starts with an upright square stance and a deep hand load. He stays on his backside in his swing and takes a direct path to the baseball. Chachas showed some quickness to his barrel and showed some feel for the barrel. He made contact to all fields and has a contact line drive approach. Very good student.
