Russell Miller is a 2022 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Tattnall Square Academy. Medium and skinny frame, young with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 6.79 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out int he infield with smooth actions, footwork and hands are clean, moves well and carries his weight into his throws, loose arm action up to 84 mph across the diamond, defensive skillset stood out in game play as well. Secondary righthanded pitcher, pitches exclusively from the stretch, starts his delivery with a high leg lift and a full arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, stays online to the plate, fastball topped out at 81 mph, mixes in a developing 12-6 curveball and deceptive straight changeup. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide base, loads up with some weight shifted into contact, line drive swing plane creates, compact and simple stroke, barrel feel with tools to project on moving forward. Outstanding student. Named to 2019 Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
