Katin Surprenant is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Upland, CA who attends Bonita HS. Recorded a 7.11 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with some physicality present. Primary third baseman with soft hands and moves well in the infield. Smooth footwork and rounds the ball well. Accurate throws across the infield. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a simple side step delivery into a high leg lift. Drop and drive backside actions and has a quick arm from an abbreviated arm circle. Maintains arm speed on the changeup with good sink and mixed in a 10/5 curveball. Rightahanded hitter with an upright, even stance. Large leg lift trigger into the swing with a direct path. Good jump off the barrel and has looseness to the swing. Present gap to gap strength. Good student.
