Weston Blanchard is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Fulshear, TX who attends Fulshear HS. Recorded a 7.75 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some room left to fill out and add strength. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a high three quarters arm slot and a longer arm circle. Stays online with the delivery and keeps it simple. Adds some deception due to movements throughout. Fastball topped out at 72 mph and looks to pitch to contact. Curveball mimics fastball somewhat with shorter break to it. Arm strength recorded up to 65 mph from secondary position of first base. Lefthanded hitter with a wide base and a low leg kick. Arm bars out during the load with a lower back elbow. Can work the other way with intent and has a contact oriented approach. Good student.
