Bryson Willis is a 2021 OF/MIF, UT, C with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Morehead City, NC who attends West Carteret. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.00 seconds and consistently showed very good instincts and speed on the base paths. Hits from even-based stance with simple toe tap trigger, quiet and repeatable swing mechanics overall, quick barrel with good hands, consistently found the barrel, line drive swing plane with whole-field approach, made firm contact to all fields all weekend. Shows good footwork and positioning instincts in the infield, hands work well out front, fields cleanly and works quickly into two-step throwing pattern, quick release, clocked up to 70 mph on throws. Also worked out in the outfield, comes in on the ball and fields cleanly, works through, length to arm stroke, clocked up to 70 mph on throws. Excellent student, named to 2019 Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
