Christopher Lanzilotta is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Havre De Grace, MD who attends John Carroll. Medium, physical build with some present strength throughout his frame. Recorded a 8.07-second sixty time. Primary first baseman, deep fielding funnel, playing low. Methodical footwork with good turns on throw to second. 78 mph across the diamond. Right-handed pitcher, full wind up with a belt-high leg lift. Medium stride length, remaining on line towards plate. Over-the-top arm slot, creating some downhill, heavy action on his fastball. Up to 81 mph with his fastball, cruising in the upper-70s, Continuing to refine feel for curveball, occasionally getting on the side of the ball. Right-handed hitter, open stance with a high-hand set and high back elbow. Hanging leg trigger with a rotational lower half, flashing a heavy barrel at contact when on time getting foot down. Present quickness to hands with flashes of gap-to-gap power. Excellent student.
