Tanner Langley is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends John Overton Comprehensive HS. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned well throughout frame. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman but graded out best on the mound in this look. Shows fluid mechanics with an on line delivery, creates extension out front, works quickly with tempo. Attacks hitters from a high three-quarters release point, effort at release but able to stay within the zone, fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly true with occasional running life. Curveball shows 11-5 shape, spin and rotation will continue to tighten. Short and compact arm stroke across the infield, developing footwork with a tall release, low release point on throws across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and medium hand set; upper body dominant swing with limited stride through lower half. Full swing path through the zone, does a nice job of repeating swing and shows strength off the barrel to the pull side, nice power potential at the plate.
