Braeden Ross is a 2021 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from El Cajon, CA who attends Christian. Large athletic build. Primary outfielder, Long outfield like arm action, stays on top of his throws well. Really gears up before making throws to the plate. Approaches the ball well and has some carry to his throws. On the mound, long arm with an over the top slot. Arm reaches down and back into separation. Fastball sits around 81-to-83 mph and has some cut action at times. Confidence in going after hitters with the fastball. Breaking ball has a large 12-to-6 shape and hides it well. Off-speed sits around 77 mph. At first base, comes off the bag well and showcases a strong arm to all bags. Fields the ball out in front and has solid rhythm with the baseball. At the plate, has an upright, slightly open stance and consistently works his hands inside. High contact approach with ability to get hands out and turn on the baseball. Simple load with strong coil. Great student with a 3.8 GPA. Named to the event's top prospect list.
