Mark Henshon is a 2022 SS/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Wellesley, MA who attends Roxbury Latin. Recorded a 6.96 second sixty-yard dash time. Athletic looking primary middle-infielder with room to add strength and physically mature. High energy player with bounce in steps and active footwork into and through the fielding process. Well-engaged lower half with clean funner out in front, quick exchange and short arm action across the diamond. Recorded online, accurate throws up to 78 miles per hour across the diamond in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high back elbow and small leg lift trigger for timing. Middle-to-pull approach with consistent bat-to-ball skills, present bat speed and the ability to turn the barrel on the inner half. Developing power potential with strength through contact and the propensity to find the barrel in game action. Plenty of projection remaining with upside on both sides of the ball. Excellent Student.
