Marcos Roque is a 2018 3B/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek HS. Present size and athleticism with long limbs room to fill out as well. Primary third baseman with some hand quickness and smoothness to the transfer. Deliberate movements with advanced actions with the glove. Arm strength is currently developing but accurate across. Righthanded hitter with an upright, open stance. Good bat speed through the zone with an elastic hand load. Slight hitch in the hands but that is most likely for timing purposes. Fluidity and natural loft to the swing path. Looking to drive the ball to the pull side and up the middle. Stays on plane well with a solid, advanced approach. Strong overall hitting tools with a very projectable swing and skill set. Excellent student.
