Hunter Zienowicz is a 2021 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Budd Lake, NJ who attends Delbarton. Primary first baseman, medium frame and athletic build with projectable body type, 7.95 runner in the 60. Shows athletic actions around the bag at first, feet move well, hands are soft and starts double plays with ease. Arm is accurate to the bases with developing arm strength. Hits from a wider base, closed stance and slight crouch. High back elbow and creates barrel turn with a lift through the zone, power pull side approach at the plate that is extremely aggressive. Slight weight shift into contact with present gap power. Also pitches, works only from the stretch, displays a degree of hip load and creates a crossfire step to the plate. Arm circle in the back is compact working up to a high 3/4 arm slot with a full follow through. Aggressive with the fastball, which sits in the upper 60's, topping at 72 mph, and has some plane when thrown in front. Slider shows 11/5 shape and later down action with slight depth. Good student.
