Andrew Prather is a 2019 2B/C with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Smyrna, GA who attends North Cobb HS. Recorded a 6.86 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic build and stance with some room to add additional strength and physicality to the frame. Primary second baseman with looseness to actions and arm strength recorded up to 80 mph across the diamond. Moves well to the glove side and has accurate throwing mechanics, profiles well at second base. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance to start the mechanics. Wide base with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Stationary lower half and swing comes predominantly from upper half strength. Downhill swing plane and can improve power with additional drive from the lower half. Good student.
