Ryan Thompson is a 2018 OF with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Keizer, OR who attends Mcnary HS. Long and slender build, lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, busy hand load but is well timed in his swing, loose and balanced swing with the beginnings of some bat speed, short swing with consistent line drive middle of the field contact, has hitting tools to develop if he can get stronger. 7.45 runner, has clean actions through the ball in the outfield, long and loose arm action. Also pitched, fastball topped out at 71 mph from a slow paced and well controlled delivery, threw strikes, threw only fastballs. Good student.
