Bryce Welder is a 2005 right handed pitcher/outfielder from Surrey BC Canada with a good athletic body at 6 ft. 3 195 pounds. He showed good arm speed from a 3/4 slot with good extension. He showed good overall mechanics with some stiffness to his delivery. He showed nice command of his fastball, and he worked both sides of the plate well. His fastball topped out at 84 mph with run. His change showed good depth and movement at 73 mph. He did not show a breaking pitch. He is an athletic pitcher and ran a 7.35 in the 60. He also took a decent round of BP and showed good overall body strength. He has a projectable pitchers body, and he has the potential to be a top pitcher at the next level. He needs more flexibility. Big sleeper!
