Andrew Loeffelman is a 2021 C/1B/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Saint Louis, MO who attends St. Louis University HS. Long and projectable athletic build, has some present strength with plenty more to come. 7.27 runner in the sixty, has sound fundamental actions behind the plate defensively, stays simple and compact with his footwork and exchange, has the athleticism to keep improving behind the plate as he gets stronger. Also played first base with similar athleticism. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, fires his hips well and generates good bat speed, long and loose swing with good extension, looking to get his hands extended and he showed pop and jump off the barrel when he did so, took good well timed swings in the games. Good all around player with tools and skills on both sides of the ball. Excellent student.
