Bryce Lovcik is a 2019 C/RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Plymouth, MN who attends Maranatha Christian Academy. Big athletic build with plenty of present strength. 7.11 runner, has good flexibility and agility behind the plate, gets low and sets a good target, very good arm strength, game action in drills with a 1.88 best pop time, next level tools behind the plate. Right handed hitter, hits from an open narrow stance with a drift into contact, upper body rotational swing, has strength in his swing and can drive the ball when he's on time. Also pitched, compact arm circle from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with good life down in the zone and plenty of downhill angle. Curveball was a solid pitch with deep 12/6 shape, commanded his curveball better than his fastball. Outstanding student.
