Jesus Campa is a 2020 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Montwood. Ran a 7.61 second sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with a medium frame and build. Has a good first step that allows for consistent positioning, pairs well with soft hands and athletic movements to and through the baseball. Has average arm strength on throws that are extremely accurate with good carry across the diamond at 77 miles per hour. Has a narrow, open stance at the plate with a good shift into contact. Settles on the back side some and has a short swing with consistent pull-side contact and line drive approach. Repeats the swing well with some present bat speed. Secondary right-handed pitcher that starts from the windup, with a small side step into a leg lift that reaches above the belt. Creates good linear direction down the mound, and uses athleticism to repeat well and get good extension over the front side. Has medium arm action in the back before coming through with a three-quarter slot. Gets some sinking run to the fastball at 81-84 miles per hour and shows the ability to throw it down in the zone. Slider has some nice lateral sharpness at 68 miles per hour, and the changeup is a developing pitch that stays straight at 73 miles per hour.
