Mike Gorman is a 2020 RHP/C with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Lower Gwynedd, PA who attends Wissahickon HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, does a nice job of getting tall on backside and utilizes a hip turn at top; quick and full arm action through the backside working to a high three-quarters release point. Creates extension out front and plane on fastball, topped out at 80 mph with fastball, repeats well and shows easy release. Understands how to pitch and located off speed for strikes as well. Curveball up to 68 mph with depth and 12-6 shape, nice feel for the pitch and lands for strikes. Flashed changeup at 71 mph with fading life. Projects for additional velocity moving forward. Also caught, receives the ball out front, limited stride with lower half and could get additional lower half involved in release, quick transfer and release, gets upright while showing a short and quick arm action on throws down to second base.
