Ethan Campbell is a 2021 SS/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Youngstown, FL who attends A. Crawford Mosley. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Quick-twitch muscle and good runner, posted a 6.60 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows sound and quick footwork moving towards the ball, twitch plays and shows range, stays balanced throughout actions, fields it out front and works through the ball well, accurate throws across the diamond. Fields the ball out front in the outfield, takes longer strides moving towards the ball, developing actions overall, lower slot on throws with some whip at release, keeps throws low and stays balanced through release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a medium hand set, uses an inward leg lift trigger into contact, can turn the barrel over on the inner half, creates some leverage and will only improve pop with additional strength.
