Jack Riggs is a 2021 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Norris City, IL who attends Norris City-Omaha-Enfield. Medium and young frame. Ran a 7.70 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, took reps in the infield waiting back on baseball, fields slightly high, would like to see get down lower at the point of gather, footwork plays but still could be improved, glove gets down late at times, exchange should improve with added reps, developing arm strength. Secondary righthanded pitcher who also pitched at the event, high leg lift delivery, short arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball showed short sink and topped out at 72 mph, mixed in a 12-to-6 curveball. Righthanded hitter, crouched stance, compact and balanced swing, swing has a solid plane, compact and uphill while looking to elevate the baseball, all fields approach, needs to get stronger for added pop off of the barrel.
