Nick Bellezza is a 2020 RHP/2B, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Yardley, PA who attends Notre Dame HS. Recorded a 5.29 second 40-yard dash time. High-waisted frame with some physicality and room for additional strength. Primary righthanded pitcher that sits back deep on his back leg and comes to a belt high leg lift. Three-quarters arm slot with a longer arm action. Fastball shows good run to the arm side with a fastball that topped out at 82 mph. Curveball showed tight spin and sharp 11/5 break with some good depth to the pitch. Commanded the pitch well and worked it off the fastball nicely. Arm strength played well from the secondary position of infield. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a longer swing path. Drives with his hips and lower half well with a small leg lift trigger into the swing. Level swing plane and has some power to pull with some impact off the barrel. Good student.
