Collin Bosley-Smith is a 2020 RHP/SS with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends Woodrow Wilson. Nice athletic pitcher's build with good present strength and room for more. Gathers over the rubber well after a simple turn start, high 3/4's arm slot, fast arm coming through, short stride down the mound with some crossfire at release, can get over his front side more consistently, some effort at release. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight. Has a feel for spinning the ball, slider is a quality pitch with sharpness and bite, big 11/5 curveball for another look. Drops slot a bit on a firm change up but gets nice action and deception. Four present pitches with the ability to improve across the board. Fields his position very well with obvious athleticism, 6.77 runner. Right handed hitter, has an easy low tension swing with quick hands, simple swing mechanics, good bat speed and gets the barrel out front, doesn't try to do too much and makes consistent hard contact, potential two-way player at the college level. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Duke.
