Tyler MacDormand is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Brookline, NH who attends Hollis-Brookline. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.45 seconds. Shows good weight shift in swing when hitting, smoothness to barrel on line drive plane, shows good bat speed and gets the head out on time for the most part. Flashes power to deeper parts of the ballpark, successful at creating backspin and getting the ball into the air. Worked out in the outfield, gets to ball quickly and lines it up, works through the ball well and displays solid fielding actions, slings throws from lower slot release, smoothness to arm, throws clocked up to 73 mph. Good student.
