Tyler Hughesman is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends South Iredell. Smaller frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.43 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, smooth actions on the dirt with good lateral range, works to and through it well with a great glove and quick transfers, gets going to the bag well and gets rid of it easily and on time. Also pitched, good pace to how he works, creates good run on the fastball into upper-70s while showing solid spin on the breaking ball. Switch-hitter, grades out slightly better on the right side. Balanced on both sides, more compact from the right side with good bat speed and ability to repeat while handling the barrel well; shows more loft and looseness from the left with similar quickness to the hands and a pull side approach. Worked to both gaps well from both sides of the dish.
