Chayton Beck is a 2020 C/RHP with a 6-2 176 lb. frame from Liberty, MO who attends Liberty. Lean Athletic build. Ran a 7.52 second 60-yard dash. Uses a low side saddle stance with good footwork and quick hands. Displayed good arm strength and a quick release with online accuracy topping out at 74 miles per hour from behind the plate and posting a 1.94 second pop time. Right handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a long hanging load and a high hand and back elbow set up. Employs a gap to gap approach looking to drive the ball to and through the gaps. Showed good power to the pull side with consistent loud contact to the pull side during batting practice. Employs a small side step to high leg lift delivery. Showed good balance and pace in delivery as well. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot with good arm speed. Employs a fastball for strikes consistently topping out at 83 miles per hour complemented by a tumbling change up at 68 miles per hour. Flashed the ability to drop down side arm with a fastball at 81 miles per hour creating good deception.
