Darren Willis is a 2022 MIF/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Lizella, GA who attends Tattnall Square Academy. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.12 second sixty yard dash. Primary Middle Infielder, working well around the baseball as he does a good job keeping it in front of him. Confident with the gather and then shuffles into throws. Accurate around the bag and threw it 76 mph across the diamond during drills. Proved to be fundamentally sound in his actions and will make big strides if he is to add some strength to the frame. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from a wide stance as he works into a small lift to stride. Proved to have strength in the hands as he generated easy bat speed. Looked to drive the baseball middle away on a line and did so with success. Ball jumped off the barrel when he got extended. Outstanding Student.
