Ryan Hutchison is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove. Medium to Large frame with an already filling out build. Strong lower half. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, very simple in his operation as he was repeatable in his actions. Did a nice job of driving with the backside and finished out front down the mound. Fastball up to 79 mph as he worked both sides of the plate. Mixed in a sweeping slider that he tunneled well off the fastball in the upper-60's. Also proved to have some feel for a changeup that faded late. Secondary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he gathers it out front. Confident in the glove actions as he scoops it up and released with urgency. Threw it 73 mph during drills with accuracy. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow and pinched before striding out. Strong hands as he throws them at the baseball and found barrels. Very loud when he got extended out front. Pull-side power showing and proved he could leverage the baseball. Outstanding Student.
