Rob Hayes is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Olive Branch, MS who attends NorthPoint Christian. He ran a 7.44 second sixty. A primary middle infielder with a medium building showing room to fill on the frame. On the infield he he showed good feel for the back hand working through the ball with his glove and feet and displaying enough arm strength to get it across the diamond. At the plate, his righthanded swing starts with a wide base and open stance, use a low leg lift to time the swing as the barrel works linear through the zone with a long finish and developing bat speed. Excellent student.
